Is the water there calm enough for an old guy in a canoe?

hit it with my kayak for 2.5 hours this morning.  Lots of fish being caught, especially by the spinning guys in boats, water near the upper bridge a little gunky from the windstorm.  Lots of big hickories, did not have a tape, but I would guess 19-21, and several very hefty with eggs.
Fly fishing a little slower, I got around 10 to the boat and lost a few.  Little windy around 10am onward.
