Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Tips for a Broken Rod Case

Second the motion on split rings. Might have to try a couple to see which one gets through the little hole.  Saved me $65 to repair a winter parka!

A 1" split ring from a craft store has been my pull solution. Feed it through the zipper piece. I have them on my luggage and sling packs where the flat YKK piece to pull the has broken off.

Over the weekend the zipper on my Reddington 3 wt rod case broke over the weekend and I completely lost the pull.  It doesn't sound like Reddington will cover it.  Any advice on where to get it fixed in the DMV?  I'd rather not have to go buy a new rod case. I'd do it myself, but even then, I'm not sure how.

Thanks!!
