{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} DC DOEE adds Striped Bass to the do not eat list

When I turned on the TV this evening, a story was on reporting that DC's Department of Energy and Environment have added Striped Bass to the do not eat list due to high levels of PCBs. Check the story here: http://wjla.com/news/local/dc-to-locals-dont-eat-our-rockfish

The video also reports that catfish had lower levels of toxins and were removed from this list.

Checking the DC DOEE website, this update is confirmed, but oddly enough the regulations on keeping the fish were unchanged. http://doee.dc.gov/service/fishing-district

I don't suspect many of our members eat Striped Bass from the river but it's good for everyone to be aware.
