I appreciate your responses. Still a little confused.
I have a single fly rod/reel, it's a three piece set that comes in a 3
foot or so rod/reel padded case. Not huge, normally I just sling it
over a shoulder. I was planning on making this a carry on only
luggage trip. Getting it through TSA looks do-able.
Guess my question is...will that be allowed on the flight as carry on.
I'm checking the AA site and it's not really helpful. I was just
planning on throwing it up in an overhead bin.
