{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Hazel River/North Fork Thornton River or others around Sperryville

I was in Sperryville a few weeks ago for the exact same reason. I didn't have much time to fish so I just fished the Thornton River (not the N Fork) for about an hour where it goes through SNP. The water was incredibly low, but I did find one hole where I caught 3 brookies (two under 6" and one around 8"). It's easily accessible, but I'd only go back there again if I only had an hour or less to fish.

Hey Folks,

Long time lurker first time poster. I am going to a wedding party in Sperryville, VA and was planning on getting up early and hitting the Hazel or the N Fork of the Thornton. Any tips or advice for fishing on either of these two rivers? Are there any other spots worth considering?

Thanks,
Nick
