I was away in the Rideau Lakes region of Ontario, Canada last week and did my share of fishing, It was much better fishing later in the week as compared to the front half - we had near 90 F temps and high humidity but at least the wind blew. After a uncomfortably warm and very still Tuesday, weather improved and so did the fishing. As you can see, I'm a meat fisherman who uses a spinning rod and a wacky worm when I'm not impersonating a flyfisher. Rock Bass dig gutless frogs. The big fly caught bass was on a 5 wt with a #6 Bitch Creek nymph. The fish in Newboro Lake really for for brown/orange or black/orange color combos.--Mark
