RE: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Horsebacks

I’ve never been there, Mark, but the area is supposedly a mile hike from Snyder’s Landing with rock formations rising out of the river that resemble the backs of horses – legend has it named by Indians. Not sure if the hike is up or down stream.

You mean the rapids around Talyors Landing? I fished Snyders Landing, downstream from there about 3-4 years ago - water was a little high and a bit uncomfortable even wet wading - also some boot sucking mud here and there - wished I had a boat for this sector. There were smallmouth in there for sure. Would enjoy reading a report on Taylors Landing area.
