My animal might be saved by this thread...........

I need to trim the toe hair of my Husky (she slides on the hardwood floors) and I always thought it would be good for a   "Usual" .  I don't know if it's hollow and floats but it doesn't come in wet from the snow.  My fly tying area is totally out of commission at the moment so I might have to bag it and tie later.  It's a renewable resource.
