{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Channel Cats on Fly?

you'll get them on clousers and streamers occasionally, especially in tidal areas. have also picked up a couple nice ones on poppers fished along shallow weed beds during the summer in both the tidal and upper potomac. fun to catch but usually kind of disappointed b/c first thought is that it's a trophy bass.

On a creek I fish regularly I've seen some nice channel catfish taken by bait fisherman. I haven't caught one on a fly but would like to try. I know many of you guys here have taken cats on flies, and would love to here the flies and techniques you are using to catch them.

Thanks!

Matt
