{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Oct 17 - PLAY with TPFR, CWA, and NoVaTU on the Gunpowder

This will be a combined fishing day with Chesapeake Women Anglers and Northern VA Trout Unlimited

If you haven't fished the Gunpowder before this would be a good way to fish part of it.

Gunpowder Falls is a tailwater fishery that fishes well year-round. 

Bunker Hill is in the upper section (catch and release) of the river that extends from Prettyboy Reservoir downstream to Blue Mount Road. Access is easy with trails parallel to the river. As this is a tailwater, the temperatures and water levels are relatively constant, check the USGS gage.

You will need a valid Maryland license and remember that felt-soled wading boots are banned in that State.
