Unfortunately this is going to sound like a non answer. Because the Occaquan is dam controlled. the water above the Dam is relatively consistent and no Shad. Below the dam, the distance from the Potomac is so short, then that portion of the Occaquan will be the generally same as the Potomac. There are no USGS stream monitoring stations that I can identify for either above or below the dam.
