Daniel and Kurt- I think (hope) my schedule for this afternoon just opened up. Can you tell me where the event is- same spot where we met for clean-up?

This will be TPFRs third year supporting the 4Mr after-school fishing event. I would appreciate the support of members with fishing experience to help with an upcoming after-school fishing program.

There are two Friday events scheduled in May. I definitely need one member to take point and coordinate TPFR support for the May 19th event. I need a backup person for the May 26th event. Let me (Daniel) know as soon as you can if you can assist. I'll provide you with more details, answer any questions you may have, and provide coordination information with the 4Mr sponsor of the event.

Friday, May 19 - 3:30-5pm (max 20 kids, grades 1-3)
Friday, May 26 - 3:30-5pm (max 13 kids, grades 4-5)

As in past years, they will have 20 fishing rods for the kids to use, all with underspin-trigger reels, rigged with slip-bobbers and snelled hooks with artificial bait, SPAM, or other non-live bait. We'll have the kids practice casting on the grass first, without fish hooks, then walk to fishing spots along the 4 Mile Run. The kids will be accompanied by two Casa Chirilagua staff and additional volunteers, as well as by one or two of our interns and Kurt Moser.

I am out of town on these dates and I really need your support.
