{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} South Beach not much to report...report

Hit South Beach Miami for Spring Break this past week.  Wind was brutal almost every day so no real fly fishing.  Did manage a nice Jack off the beach on a white paddle tail.  Also had about a 4 foot cobia chase same bait right to the beach only to turn away before committing.

Did some canal fishing for peacocks but could not get them to move on the fly.  Saw some enormous goldfish hanging around the pilings.

Wish I had a better report.

Highly recommend visiting the Cuban restaurants that our Cuban friends recommended.  PM if interested.  The food was outstanding and very reasonable for South Beach.
