Hit South Beach Miami for Spring Break this past week. Wind was brutal almost every day so no real fly fishing. Did manage a nice Jack off the beach on a white paddle tail. Also had about a 4 foot cobia chase same bait right to the beach only to turn away before committing.
-- Did some canal fishing for peacocks but could not get them to move on the fly. Saw some enormous goldfish hanging around the pilings.
Wish I had a better report.
Highly recommend visiting the Cuban restaurants that our Cuban friends recommended. PM if interested. The food was outstanding and very reasonable for South Beach.
