Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Shenandoah brook trout

Great pictures and lovely fish Todd!

Is that a 7' rod?

The size of the fish and the "SNP" designation narrows things down to (in my experience), 3 of the SNP streams.  If I had to guess based upon that, plus the steep slope on the left bank, the riffle dumping in slightly toward the right bank, a 0,80 gauge reading today, and access from where you took the first picture, I would have to guess "just upstream from second bridge crossing on the Dan-i-rap", though I could be wrong.

If I'm right, I captured a really nice salamander on a moist rock there on a rainy day last year.

Good job avoiding all of those bears and rattlesnakes.  SNP is a very, very dangerous place.

Howdy folks!!!

It's been a long time since I have posted pics here.

Well I have been battling diabetes, but now it's under control. Today I decided to take the day off from work and hit the stream.

The water level was still high due to rain and no rises and hatch activities. The size 8 beedhead woolyburger did the trick and managed a dozen of decent sizes.

Here are a few pictures.

Tight Lines !!!
