I enjoy your posts Justin -- well, and I also enjoy Jeff's since they often involve the catching of large fish by sight...which is very challenging and awesome.
-- You've inspired me to dig my battenkill out and pair it up with that ff706. It balances well on that short rod. Honestly, my "better" access reel kept freezing up earlier (requiring a periodic dunk into the warm water discharge). Those clickers are really, really simple things. They also let everyone in earshot know that you've hooked a fish, so long as it is over 12" or so. I guess that could be good or bad but in my case it would usually be Beth.
