The Gunpowder River west of Baltimore is a tailwater stream that stays cold all summer, always a good choice. Many of the small Brook Trout streams in the Shenandoah should still be productive. Mossy Creek down by Harrisonburg, VA is a great year round spring creek. There are probably many PA streams but I've never been up there. I'm sure other folks will chime in with more and better ideas than these but the bottom line is that while the stocking season may be over there are still trout to be had - just a matter of technique and patience.

I am new to the area and fear I missed trout season here. Where can I go for some trout or what else can I get into locally? I live in Falls Church area.
