Shenandoah National Park still has brookies all but the hottest months of the year.
The Gunpowder in MD (just north of Baltimore) is a tailwater fishery but a bit tough.
And South Central PA has a bunch of well known spring creeks that fish well most of the summer, Letort, Yellow Breeches, Big Spring Creek.
There are others too. but summer time is Smallmouth time on the Potomac.
