{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Accotink Creek pre-storm trash fish

Ashley -- I mostly fish the lower section (downstream of Braddock road) because I live down there and am more interested in the sunfish and small bass than trout.  

After the spring stocking you should be able to find plenty of trout along the section you mentioned (the vicinity of wakefield park).  

If you see Fred down there (picture) who has chosen to nest on a pile of beer cans, wave hello but don't get too close to his mate down on the water.  She hisses and bites.
