{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} James River Musky

I did a float with Joe on the James River yesterday for musky after being inspired by Dan's post from last year, and a long chat about it with Joe at the Project Healing Waters Beer Tie. We went out with Matt Miles and he worked his butt off to put us on fish. Joe ended up landing about a 30-33" musky (we forgot to measure... whoops) after we had literally no action for about 6 hours. Ten minutes later he had a strike from a giant fish that was probably close to 50" if not bigger, but missed. He and I each had one more follow from a couple 40 inch fish. I caught a bunch of smallmouths, but nothing of significant size. Hopefully the pictures were small enough to attach, if not, I'll resize. I brought my GoPro and I think I got some decent footage, including some underwater shots, but haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

The drive home sucked, though. Massive rain storm resulted in nearly an hour of having to drive between 25 and 40 mph on the highway because of visibility.
