There's a small craft launch area if you drive past the ramps. I managed a couple bass, pan fish and a yellow perch on saturday. I saw some gar and snakehead but couldn't get a strike. The water was pretty stained still, hopefully this weekend it'll be clearer and allow for some better sight casting.
