{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Game Changer chart

Was poking around the internet today, and found this great chart, that while meant to market pre-tied game changers has some useful info on shank and hook selection for a variety of changers.

{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Are there fish in the Patuxent south of Brighton Dam in November?

Part of this area is "fly only", and this map shows some stocking events in the area.  Seems the Patuxent near Laurel was stocked 4/2022, but I assume those fish are gone now?  At this time of year, are there fish in the Patuxent south of Brighton Dam?

{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: CASTING CHURCH - Sun 13 Nov

Great job today casting in difficult conditions!

I wanted to share a couple of useful roll cast videos for David and Anna in hopes it comes in handy for their upcoming trip on relatively small water with tight quarters:

Additionally, we will work on FFI Casting Skills challenges for anyone interested.

Come on out, whether you are a novice, intermediate, or advanced caster, it is all fun to work on solving casting problems and casting challenges, particularly for shad.
If you are just getting started, this is a great way to meet people who can help.  There will be casting instructors on hand.
If you are preparing for an upcoming trip and looking to re-fresh your casting skills, this is a great opportunity.

Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} BEER TIE - Mon 14 Nov

I've been asked to tie a wood sculpin at the learning table. If you have any requests for fly tying patterns or techniques you want to learn be sure to speak up.

See you all next week.
