You could also look at the fly rod kits by Epic. Cost $400 for the kit and come with all the materials/tools you need.

Look at Proof fly fishing...Matt is a great resource. Just go through him and order a set of tools. His videos offer step by step instructions that helped me walk through my first two builds.

Hi Guys, thinking of trying to build up a rod, looking at kits the dryers, reamers, and guide wrappers seem very expensive, I'd like to try to build something before I invest in all of them, does anyone in the area have a tool set they wouldn't mind renting or loaning?
