{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} 4th Annual Fletcher's Boathouse Veterans Family Shad Gala - 19 April 2019

We are in need of rowers for this event. Come early, grab one of our boats and fish. Then come back around 9:30 or so and take our veterans out to catch some Shad. Lunch is around 1 pm.

I will be at Beer Tie tonight if you have any questions.

{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: TPFR 10 Year Anniversary Celebration and Beer Tie!!!!!!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone tonight for our 10 year Anniversary. Our founder Dan Davala will be joining us to celebrate and Rob Snowhite will be heading up the shadness madness tying table.

Please see the attached image of the loaded fly box we are raffling off tonight. Over 10 dozen locally tied flies for all your Potomac fishing needs!!

We will also have an Orvis Recon 7 Weight up for grabs....and lets not forget.....CAKE!!!!!!!!

In celebration of our TPFR's 10 year anniversary we will holding a pair of events. First is a 10 year anniversary casting church on Sunday, April 7th...please see post from Art Noglak... and also we will be having a celebration at our regularly scheduled beer tie on Monday, April 8th. We will be raffling of a giant box of Potomac flies. When I say giant I mean like 6-7 dozen flies that should last a couple of seasons at least. Also we will be raffling off an Orvis Recon 9 foot 7 weight....perfect for all your Tidal Potomac needs. We will have a few other items as well, but those are the big ones.

Dan Davala, TPFR founder will be in attendance as well as all the other club officers. Rob Snowhite will be conducting our shadness madness tying! Whip up a few patterns for the run, enter to win some great prizes and come out and celebrate 10 years with us!

I almost forgot...we will have cake!

That's awesome Matt, thanks for coming out and for bringing Eleni out too!! It was super fun working with you two and watching another caster come to life! Eleni, you did AWESOME!!! Hope you all make it out to more.

Thanks to everyone else who came out too. It was an incedible experience to be back at Fletcher's again, and I am so thankful to everyone who has worked to keep the club going strong. It warms my heart to see that after 10 years TPFR is still a positive, and welcoming community that is open and easy to participate in.

Hope to see a bunch of you again tonight at the BEER TIE and 10th anniversary celebration!! And thanks again to all of you who make TPFR what it is.

If you would like to learn some spey casts just bring waders and boots and any rod with a floating line. Reagan or Myself can show you how yo make any spey cast with your single hand rod as well!

The Davalas made it in safely Friday night and are looking forward to she festivities!
