{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} IF4™: International Fly Fishing Film Festival presented by NCC-TU

Hey there fellow TPFRers,

I am proud to announce that the National Capital Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be presenting IF4™: International Fly Fishing Film Festival at the Avalon Theater in Washington DC on September 26 @ 8:30 PM. Tickets are $20 and include an automatic entry to win a brand new Echo ECHO3 8wt rod. Tickets can be purchased online here.

All profits will go towards the chapter's conservation work and our new Project Healing Waters chapter at the DC V.A. hospital, so be sure to come out and support a great cause.

We will have also rods, reels and new NCC-TU swag from top fly fishing brands available for sale. More news to come on beer and food sales.

Fished Pine Lake up in Wheaton Regional Park on Sunday. Loaded with stunted bluegill, wish they would get a little bigger.

{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} June Shad at Fletcher's Cove

Read about a June run of American shad down at Fletcher's in the final NCC-TU Shad Report. This won't last long because there's a nasty heat wave coming this weekend. A good striper bite continues as well if you can't locate shad. Enjoy the mild weather and remaining few days of spring fishing while you can!
