{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} anybody fished mossy or beaver creek lately?

I fished out there about 5 weeks ago, when the water was extremely low and fish activity was minimal. Many thanks in advance to anyone who can provide a more recent report. MCFF's last fishing report was on 8/4.

Jeff - that's an excellent write up.  Thank you very much.

Which set of rapids did you do most or your rock hopping? Ones closest to the parking at Keep Tryst or downstream?

{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Yellow Breeches / Susquehanna

Darn, sorry I missed this. I have fished that exact section. It was nice looking water, and I was hoping to get into some smallies there, but I didn't have any luck when I went in April a few years ago. How'd you do?

I'm going to a wedding this weekend near Harrisburg, PA. The hotel is basically right where the Yellow Breeches dumps into the Susquehanna. I have have two or three hours tomorrow morning to get some fishing in. I can literally walk to the Yellow Breeches from there, but not sure if that stretch is worth fishing. Any insight or suggestions on somewhere to hit that's within a very short drive given how little free time I might end up with?
