That is a pretty intrepid, daredevil maneuver, brad. I have approached from the west only once or twice and usually slow about 100yds out with my hazards on, pull into the right shoulder at the top of the driveway and then back down the road into the car park, then turn around and head first into the tunnel. I usually find my way into Rosslyn and come in from Georgetown to avoid that awkward maneuver, but of course that means I have to wait until 10.15am on weekdays.

is there some secret technique to getting into fletchers coming eastbound on canal road? its a 2-3 point turn in a truck, and it being the city folks are not so patient. almost got into an accident this morning from someone trying to squeeze around me on the right when i tried to swing the turn wide.
caught 20+ today, so the fishing was good at least.
thanks,
