The best bet and easiest option is to pick out any bridge on the Intracoastal Waterway after dark.. Primary target will be snook (sometimes too big to handle) but there are also small tarpon, lady fish, and mangrove snapper there, facing into the current at the slight / shadow line. Some bridges are better than others and at different tides, but that's my best advice (Lived in Ft. Lauderdale for 17 years),..
