Skye is stunningly raw and beautiful and the people are lovely. Make sure you have accommodation reservations. Booking.com worked for us. We were there last September and had a fabulous time but didn't get to fish. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Warning, the roads are very narrow. Combine with first time left side driving and it becomes very interesting. It will rain but the rain won't stop you from doing what you want. Take waterproof hiking shoes/boots.

Have fun. Take lots of pictures.
