Look up the Cory Routh book. An angler and a biologist. He knows the area better than most. And he took this video:

I live down here and fish a good amount. If I were you, I'd stick to Rudee Inlet or maybe consider launching out of the Narrows. Both should be fishing well.
Launching out of crab creek in lynnhaven takes a bit too learn and can provide some unforgiving trips so I recommend avoiding that.
If you fish rudee, I'd focus on 2 specific areas. The marsh area around the aquarium and launch as well as Lake Wesley. If you can bring 2 rods, bring a full sink with clousers as well as a floater with a cork / baitfish. Also, if you have lights and some spare time at night, there will be stripers under the lights once the sun sets.

As far as the narrows, I would just launch out of the boat ramp and fish your way west focusing on the shoreline. Same rod set up as rudee but you would use the floater a lot more here.
Good luck. That should be an awesome time to be here. Shoot me a PM if you have anymore questions. I'm happy to help.
