I fished the Tidal Basin and Washington Chanel last night from about 9:15 - 12:30. The rain cooled everything down a good bit but the water was low, I started out over by the paddle boats my go to spot and had no luck, I was thinking it was gonna be one of those trips were I wouldn't catch a single fish, I moved over to the area by the Rooservelt and was killing the Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass using a black Woolly Bugger up by the small bridge and along the wall, they seemed to like a medium to slow retrieve, I moved down to the Wash Chanel when things slowed down but the bugs and no fish finally chased me away. --
