I'm getting married in 17 days so I completely understand (i'm faced with the challenge of honeymoon in aruba and trying not to spend too much money gearing up for tarpon and bonefish). I now leave my wallet and cell phone in the car, and if I do bring my cell I have a water proof aquapac where I also keep my licenses. I keep my rods held down on the kayak with the bungees when i'm not using them, and my glasses have a strap. I also have learned that it's worth the paddle to the edge of the lake to relieve myself. Also, I'm in the market for a more stable kayak so I can stand and fish anyway. But like you said, with a wedding coming up you have to prioritize...

Dave - I have a wedding to pay for in October, so the new rod's gonna have to wait. ;-) Have you since bought a pelican box or a dry bag for your stuff?--Mark
