{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: New to fly fishing the Potomac. Suggestions?

You can take a canoe out at riverbend.....but maybe not this time of year.  You'd have to check on that -- a lot of places stop renting canoes when the temps start to drop. 

 

For non-wading a lot of folks hit the C & O canal at various points, though from my experience it works a lot better early in the Spring/Summer when the vegetation isn't so heavy like it is toward the end of Summer. 

 

Tidal Basin is a spot you might try.  I don't know -- without waders or a canoe it's kind of tough.
