We are jigging with bucktail jigs ranging from 1oz - 1.5oz.  Swim shads and jigging spoons will work also.

The heaviest line I have is 300 grain and I'm not in a position to buy another.  I'm wondering if a sinker a few feet above the fly would work?

And for spin fishing, what are you jigging with?  I have several of those swim shad baits in a few different sizes.  Would something like that work?
